Goodland City Parks remain open to the public at this time. However, it is important that our community be aware that park amenities, such as playground structures, shelters and benches, are not being disinfected every day. As such, we are discouraging their use until this pandemic subsides. We have installed temporary signs in our parks to help convey this information as well. We fully understand that during these times of stay-at-home orders and numerous closures people are turning to public parks as an outlet perhaps more than ever, and we hope to continue to provide excellent parks and open spaces in Goodland; we only ask that park-goers exercise caution and are aware of the inherent risks of interacting with park amenities during this COVID-19 outbreak.
