BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF GOODLAND, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. REPEAL AND REPLACE. Section 19-502(A)(1)(C) of the Goodland Municipal Code is hereby repealed and replaced with a new Section 19-502(A)(1)(C) which shall read as follows:

Garages, carports and off-street parking and loading areas, provided that a detached garage or carport shall not cover more than twelve (12) percent of the total lot area, with a maximum of 1,200 square feet; and no more than twenty (20) feet to the peak of the roof or structure;

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official City Newspaper.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20^th day of August, 2018, by the Governing Body of the City of Goodland, Kansas.
