“How Big Was the Artist?”: Taking a Look at the Big Easel Project
On the Rotary Visitor guestbook at the Big Easel there are plenty of great questions and appreciative comments. Of the many great questions, “How big was the artist/paint brush?”, is one of our favorites.
Cameron Cross, the artist behind the Big Easel Project, is 5’10”. Pretty normal sized guy.
To find out more about Cameron and the Big Easel Project, stop by the High Plains Museum to view an exhibit that explores the Big Easel Project, a collaboration between Cameron Cross and three communities around the world.
See the first three Big Easels and learn about the project’s intentions and aspirations. On display now through August 13th. Activities included feature painting your own easel on a poster or t-shirt (for a $5 donation).
Drop by the High Plains Museum to see the exhibit then go to the Big Easel to see the repairs and repainting completed by Cameron Cross during his stay in Goodland.
